Stephen Miller said the quiet part out loud. Trump has “plenary authority,” then suddenly went silent. Their plan wasn’t to be public yet. Clearly, someone hit the panic button in his earpiece.

It gets weirder: CNN uploaded the interview with the “plenary authority” comment edited out.

Consolidation of power: Following Hindenburg's death in August 1934, Hitler merged the offices of chancellor and president, assuming the title of Führer ("leader"). This cemented his position as the supreme authority in Germany.

Control over the judiciary: The Nazis completed their control of the state through the process of Gleichschaltung ("coordination"). They removed any judges deemed uncompliant and replaced the Supreme Court with the Nazi-controlled People's Court.

Legal dismantling of the opposition: With his new powers, Hitler rapidly dismantled all political opposition. On May 2 they banned trade unions, and on July 14, they passed the Law Against the Formation of Parties, making the Nazi Party the only legally permitted political party in Germany.

Granting of plenary power: The Enabling Act gave the cabinet, controlled by Hitler, the authority to pass laws without the consent of the Reichstag or president. In effect, the act transferred legislative power from the parliament to Hitler, establishing a legal dictatorship.

To secure the necessary two-thirds majority, the Nazis employed extreme intimidation tactics. They arrested communist delegates and barred them from attending the vote. They also stationed SA and SS troops in and around the meeting hall to pressure remaining opposition members.

This gave the Nazis a legal basis for the widespread arrest and persecution of political opponents.

Passage of the Enabling Act: Just weeks after the fire, on March 23rd, the Reichstag passed the Enabling Act, or the "Law to Remedy the Distress of People and Reich".

The process unfolded through the following key events:

Reichstag Fire and subsequent decree: In 1933, the German parliament building (Reichstag) was set on fire. The Nazis blamed the fire on a communist conspiracy and used it as a pretext to declare a state of emergency.

The Nazis' use of plenary power and the Enabling Act allowed them to seize absolute authority by exploiting a crisis and manipulating the legal system. This "legal revolution" provided a veneer of legitimacy to the establishment of the Third Reich.

Google Searches for ‘Plenary Authority’ Spike After Stephen Miller’s CNN Appearance
In which he slipped and said the quiet part out loud...

Plenary authority: Complete and absolute power granted to a governing body / individual to take action on a specific issue without limitations or restrictions.

They should be able to use that against them court.

This still blows me away
"The Nazis used the concept of "plenary power"—or complete absolute authority—to legally dismantle Germany's democracy & establish a dictatorship. The Enabling Act of 1933 was the key piece of legislation granting these powers to Adolf Hitler"

From Donald Trump's Roundtable on Antifa just now —
"Antifa has been around in various iterations for almost 100 years in some instances, going back to the Weimar Republic in Germany."

You mean the anti-fascist groups that fought the Nazis?

"When the Nazis seized power in 1933, they quickly outlawed both the KPD and the Social Democratic Party, effectively crushing the organized anti-fascist resistance. "

As I observed in my Substack Round Up this past week, the endgame of the military strikes against drug cartels in international waters is to lay the groundwork to use lethal military force against Americans at home. Pay attention open.substack.com/pub/asharang...

Schiff: "If a president in secret can put names on a list and kill them, then there is no war power still retained by Congress, and there's no check on an executive who may drag us into another war."

So the people causing the shutdown are getting paid. The people keeping the country running don’t.

And Speaker Mike Johnson won’t let the House come back to work. So basically they’re on a paid vacation while Americans miss paychecks.

Did I get that right?

Trump should be in jail for being a convicted felon.

"Trump was convicted on all counts on May 30, 2024, becoming the first U.S. president to be convicted of a felony."
