I consider myself a fan of the '70's, but man there is some great stuff from the 60's and even 50's. WOW.

I never much cared for L.P.s - bulky, prone to ticks and pops, constantly require cleaning, prone to feedback. So in my senior year of high school I bought a Nakamichi 680ZX cassette deck. Cassettes allowed for music in the car and allowed me to play music loud in university.
