Held captive in a gerrymandered red state that’s not as red as the red state thinks it is (you know, because gerrymandering)
Absolutely. Republicans made him their candidate. Republicans are responsible for this.

Exactly. He’s not transparent, he’s unfiltered. Big difference.

Why is this even trending. It means nothing.

I’d like to add seatbelt laws to the mix. I don’t think laws like that (for adults) would pass today. And yet so many more people are alive today because it’s become second nature to buckle up. And I have no doubt some who oppose these types of laws have loved ones who have been saved by them.

I was 11 going on 12 when SBM was released. This line and the friendships formed really resonated with me. But the convo that sticks with me most is when Gordie and Chris talk about being weird. “yeah, but so what, everybody’s weird” It’s so true and as a 12-year old, it’s kind of liberating.

Oh hell no they are not trustworthy at all. Still lots of evil. There’s a reason this decision was their choice. It’s bc they’ve gerrymandered themselves a supermajority in a state that consistently votes 40% blue.

It was real sweet for like 60 seconds

That’s what the prez and finance bros want. It makes them richer in the long run. Also all the money flowing via low interest loans makes Trump look like a good prez for a hot second. That’s why they’ve been trying to fire Powell for months because he wouldn’t agree to lower the rates. *I think*

Obviously he’ll be looking for a kickback, but more alarming is how desensitized we’ve become as to how inappropriate it is for a president to come within 30’ of a deal like this.

This is what they want though. To erode trust in the election system. Don’t let them. Seek the facts on how votes are counted.

Are you sure that’s not just like him?

It’s already so gerrymandered. 40% consistently vote blue and yet.. the state has a republican supermajority…hmmm… Towns, neighborhoods, even school districts are being divided into different congressional districts. It’s evil.

Such a waste of time and money.

Good for them, but ugh, the entire US government just spends its days filing and defending lawsuits. Like that’s all they do.

It passed the House yesterday with 67 republicans (out of 100 total seats) votes. Will be in the Senate on Monday which is only 20% Dems even though 40% of the state consistently votes blue… so yeah the State’s gerrymandering was already bad but eliminating all congressional seats is next level
