I like that this does answer my question regarding if X has a more warped version of Sonic's ideals. Sonic may have things for freedom but he has rules to follow and gives the opposite side a benefit of doubt. X does not follow those rules and becomes chaotic.

It seems that we have similar opinions regarding the cult, I never really liked it to be honest, it's also one of my least favorites. I find it to be a little too bizarre and silly for my tastes. I mean who in the world would try to worship an alien that has used a video game mascot as its vessel?
