Te prometo no poner fotos que te den yuyu 😄

En Medellín no decimos así pero creo que lo voy a adoptar.

I’d be so chuffed to find such a long snoot around here

Why can’t anyone understand that these storylines are entertainment and not a textbook? Who cares? Make me a good movie that keeps me interested for 90 minutes. That’s the job. Bond and Star Wars both. Either way. Just make movies and entertain me.

Should I duck after I hit reply?

Lower left image, from the publication by the person who did the research, Dr. Coddington. Please don’t assume women are either idiots or liars. It’s a bad look. I am not out here slinging AI slop.

Era otra broma. Sí es algo extraña la forma, y poco eficiente. Yo sólo tomo fotos. No soy muy experta en arañas. Me gustan más los membracidos y los gorgojos. Pero voy a seguir leyendo a ver qué aprendo.

No spider except this one. There are other examples on iNat. Please come out with your accusation in a more forthright way. Are you saying I made these?

Thank you!!

It’s the kind of people I love. I sometimes wish BlueSky people could jump out into my reality so I could shake their hand and bake them some cookies. Not all of them, mind you.

Also, interestingly, Colombia is not listed in the article. Then again, it’s 7 years old. If it is indeed up to date, that would make the spider the second critter I’ve spotted that has not been recorded in Colombia before in 2025. There’s also this ladybug, Psyllobora marshalli.

Thank you for this! My spider is a ray spider but lives in the rainforest at 2400 meters above sea level. There are no caves, so these can’t be Plato’s cubes, but maybe a colleague? Or maybe we are all in a giant cave?

I welcome our spider overlords? Kind of?

Of course!!! I love Wikipedia with a slightly unhealthy fervor. The oldest app I have on my phone since my very first smart phone in 2007 is Wikipanion 🥰

Hot pockets filled with spider egg sacs. A total nightmare 😜

I think many spiders do leave their egg cases behind
