How many times does a normal person think about Biden? For me, very rarely - and I voted for him.

Imagine being in Trump's brain. It's Biden, Biden, Biden, all the time. Witness how many times he mentions him - it's all the time.

The truth is, Biden beat Trump, and was infinitely better.

5/ Could AI be used constructively here? Yes, of course. But some use it - I fear - to skip the work of learning and just have an output...

4/ This use of AI is a problem, of course, because it undermines the student's learning - I want them to reflect on the themes of the book and learn about them....

3/ I am now dealing with essays that have been written by AI..

2/ For the assessment, I have students write an essay on the themes we've discussed, and link these to previous findings in this field...

I wonder how demoralising it must be to be a career person in the DOJ and be reduced to nonsensical and corrupt persecution of people Trump doesn't like.

This is a sad day for the independence and mission of the DOJ.

Hopefully, the DOJ will quietly undermine these personal vendettas.

If you view Trump as a mob boss, these actions make more sense. Persecute your enemies, reward your friends. Loyalty to the mob boss is all that matters, and the rule of law does not not matter...

Isn't this part of the plan? Purge the military and install loyalists to the regime. Then, when there are legitimate protests over a corrupt leader, declare an insurrection and use the military against the people of the country. It's autocracy 101.

When one can no longer believe what our 'leaders' are saying, they will rapidly lose any goodwill that might be required down the road. Then, the only recourse for leadership is force.

/4 Trump orders the military into 'insurrectionist' states and arrests opposition political leaders therein.

The Country begins to fracture...

/3 Trump and Hesgeth purge the military of these suspected 'traitors'.

Trump invokes the insurrection act and postpones all elections, including the upcoming Presidential election, until 'order is restored'.

Some states ignore these directives and pursue the election process...

/2 The protesters are labelled domestic terrorists by the administration and countered with significant military responses. The protests grow and there is violence and property damage.

Some voices in the military, who do not wholeheartedly support this use of the military, speak out anonymously..
