POD #5 The boy is feeling better today after LOTS of rest yesterday. NGL, it was starting to worry me but he's eating, drinking, pooping (all of which he did this morning), not vomiting. He's perkier this morning so I think he just tired himself out Friday and knows his limits now ❤️🩹

POD #5 The boy is feeling better today after LOTS of rest yesterday. NGL, it was starting to worry me but he's eating, drinking, pooping (all of which he did this morning), not vomiting. He's perkier this morning so I think he just tired himself out Friday and knows his limits now ❤️🩹
POD #4 I think Storm overdid it a bit yesterday, he was doing lots of playing but he's slowed down some today, resting a little more, but not lethargic. We're up to 1 whole can of food at a time and tomorrow he's good to resume a regular diet per vet's instructions. Keeping an eye on him ❤️🩹

Storm is clearly feeling better today, running, jumping, playing with his sisters, despite my best efforts to slow him down. He got the onsie off and was licking so I'll swap it out for the panic purchase cat suit when it arrives today. Here he is helping me WFH yesterday.

Post-op day 2: Storm did good his first night home, he's settled into the onesie now. I didn't sleep much since I was worried he was licking his incision and I panic ordered a special cat surgery suit at midnight. He wasn't licking it, just his weird naked belly. He's been chiller than me so far lol

A late Storm update: He is home and he is very hungry. The most distressing thing to him today has been that he was only allowed to have 2 half tablespoons of wet food tonight, closely followed by having to wear clothes. In all fairness, these things distress me too.

Also, after thinking it over last night, I'm 80% sure that the "tubing" that was removed was one of these boba sized silicone straws. We keep them in a drawer in the kitchen, but about a month ago I came home to find one chewed up. One of the cats had opened the drawer and he got himself a snack.

Good news on Storm this morning! He is awake and alert today, the vet said he's acting like nothing even happened which is very him. He ate and drank this morning, they will feed him again in a few hours and, if he keeps everything down, we can pick him up this afternoon! ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹

Good news on Storm this morning! He is awake and alert today, the vet said he's acting like nothing even happened which is very him. He ate and drank this morning, they will feed him again in a few hours and, if he keeps everything down, we can pick him up this afternoon! ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹

This man ate something he wasn't supposed to and is now going to cost us $3000. We don't know what the thing is yet and he is going into surgery today, but the vet was confident he will be ok once it is removed. Please feel free to shame him.
