Tired of it all. Not sure I'll be sticking around on short form social media much; at least, not sure about Bluesky.

arthfach.com/about.shtml if you're curious as to where the bear will be hanging out. Those places might prune down over time too, but I do my best to keep the list up to date.

We've doubled the amount of storage available on our server, which means that we've got plenty more capacity for anyone who has been on the fence and decides that they want to break free from Big Tech and take control back into their own hands.

i do think people who want the twitter-like experience should also be on mastodon, even if just to plant your flag so people can find you if there is trouble here

I am posting this AGAIN because I live in Virginia and there is a real chance Bluesky, which is deciding to suddenly just comply in advance with every single censorship law in the world, will block VA users from the site without age verification - which I will not do.

The list will be accurate.

Just a reminder that right now is a fantastic time to take that monthly Disney plus cash and spend it on trans/bipoc/disabled creators and small businesses. Boycotting the bad things is fantastic, but using those funds to then support and uplift those who’ve been marginalized is even better.

Pricing update:

Due to the costs to run the online office suite, the price for the bear-den.org private cloud account will be increasing from $5 to $10/month and the price for the PERSONAL hosted cloud server will go from $10 to $20/month (discounts available for both) for new accounts.
