Thanks. Called Justice dept and she hasn’t been booked by the Feds, at least not yet, and called a few of the most immediate hospitals too. Still MIA.

Do you know how many people got arrested/detained today? And do you know if there’s any way to find out who was? My wife went down there this afternoon. Can’t imagine she’d have gotten close enough to get snatched, but she’s MIA and I’m starting to get worried.

The “Balloons” piece is on particular childhood nostalgia for me. This is a vintage Bill Ding Stacking Clown. They’re a building toy that was first produced in the 1930s. My dad had some of this from his childhood in the 1950s, and my siblings and I used to play with them at my grandparents house.

Suspect decisions from MLS referees are as American as apple pie at this point, however this season in particular just seems really bad. TBF, my opinion may be a bit biased as a Timbers fan (as we’ve been on the losing end of a lot of really bad calls), but in general it seems like an uptick for all

But, I don’t follow the league, and haven’t played the sport since I was a wee little lad, so I’m definitely not a reliable source in this regard.

I may be grossly misinformed, but I was told years ago that Portland is basically just a bargaining chip whenever a team wants to go somewhere else or extract more concessions from their current city. “If you don’t give us a deal, we’ll go to Portland”. And teams never really a serious plan to come.
