My son and I (both born and raised in Oklahoma) were discussing this. I always believed it was solid education to blame for lack of Okie drawl but he thinks growing up online has a lot to do with it too.

There’s about 40% of the population here who does not agree with the way the state is run. We are speaking out, not that anyone is listening, but we’re certainly not winning any elections.
