I just crossed 20,000 words in my first novel. Almost a quarter of the way through the story.

So another day being a federal employee. It’s weird not knowing if tomorrow I will have a job or not. I have served for over 20 years now. Never had to deal with this.

I am starting my first book. About 40 pages in and things are still going “smoothly”. Trying to make connections to other authors.
