We need both the light and shadow right now. Both the ability to envision a better future, a more enlightened way of being, and we need the courage to SEE first the shadow within, and also bravely overcome it. If we just see our shadows everywhere, we can lose hope; but our light reminds us, we win.

In Trek, we barely see hints, hear stories of ww3, the eugenics war, etc, but we don't need to see them. We have #StarWars, all the war and rebellion and empire we need to see, our reflection. Our shadow. #StarTrek gives us a galaxy to shoot for, a promise; Star Wars, a shadow in us to overcome.
