I think talking about things like, protein, carb, fat and fiber balance as well as focusing more on promoting, eating fresh food, and whole foods, and whole grain and cooking techniques that promote healthy eating habits like roasting, sauteing and browning. This stuff is complicated.

Yeah, that's definitely the same flavor, although I'd say less dramatically harmful since it's mostly just encouraging people to eat specific fruits or vegetables, which is fine if not perfect. And I'm not looking for perfect, just better.

I think that's because these are terms based on feeling and marketing more than science or data. Talking about specific compounds is too much nuance for most people but just two categories turns reasonable concerns into black and white ridiculousness. I don't have a prescription though.

I get what you're trying to say, however, it sounds more like a skill issue. Balancing planning, hosting and enjoying is hard but possible. Setting boundaries, limits and asking for help makes sure that the host has fun and so does everyone else.
