By no means is it a perfect compromise but the people going to work every day and not collecting their checks are not millionaires either. I get wanting to burn Repugs but there is only so much most families can absorb. Its also not a done deal until ALL the votes are done and orange turd signs off.

You know why they caved. 4th quarter Hail Mary for the economy. From what I have read, they got the subsidy extention for 2026 and kicked the can down the road for more government layoffs until the end of January.
