Not a very nice thing to say

Tbf Luke Edwards usually bang on

I think the plan is to attack at pace, the front three at the same time. In no world does Kane get to a ball quickly enough. Listen, I don’t think we’re in a position to be fussy and Kane is a great player. Just don’t think fits our style. Need someone though. Quickly

Think Michael Caine would suit our system better than Harry.

Hopefully hear more soon then. Until that point I will be on the edge of my seat/tether. 🙏🏼

I agree it’s frustrating

Seems they’ve funded us to the tune of a few hundred million Tbf. The spend limits have been down to PSR restraints. The issues at board level have hurt us but couldn’t have seen them coming. Having wider football interests is not unique to them

Exactly

Hmmm more speculation, I’d actually heard it was PIF that wanted Howe after a hugely impressive interview and structured plan. Sums up pretty well that none of us actually know what’s going on we just read reports, interviews etc then look to fill in the blanks.

With respect, coulda, woulda, shoulda… there was not a queue of owners/consortiums lining up to buy us and shove the considerable amount of capital that they have injected so far. It’s easy to say “anyone could’ve done this..” we are where we are now because someone DID.

Lots of moving parts, prized assets with their own feelings and careers to consider, agents doing what agents do etc. Recruitment in key roles and players not been ideal to say the least but to think it’s all rotten and hopeless is premature. Hold your water people.

Not trying to antagonise, but, Champions League twice in three years, first trophy in decades, stability with a top coaching team that have changed us immeasurably… promise of better things to come (Stadium) etc. Are these not the benefits we’ve seen? I think so

One of the few worth reading. I’d stick George Caulkin and Luke Edwards on that list also but it’s a short list

It would be nice to have some in by now but I’d rather we got the right fit than the quick buy. We’ll have Elanga and Trafford in next week id imagine which is two potential first teamers before the pre season gets going for real. Couple more in the next few weeks. We’ll be laughing.

Small set of upgrades? No - a massive amount. The training facility is night and day from what it was. The club staff has increased probably 10-fold. And how has that translated on the pitch? First trophy in a lifetime and 2 champions league finishes in 3 yrs. This club is not perfect, but a mess?
