Yes and? That's one poll of many and one of the most generous to Reform. The consistent theme is Reform's support has stalled.

Not really. Reform is on like 25% and on the way down. The only reason Farage would get into power is bc the voting system allows a majority on such a low percentage.

If you think about the modern equivalent of the OG adult cast, this one certainly is not it.

I think the part which whines about lack of solidarity & condecension is the issue here. Right after that they take a dig at Europe. Solidarity goes both ways. US posters have a habit of always centering the US & talking shit about everybody else then get upset when Europeans roll their eyes.

I'd love that! Especially since they actually learned photography from them. I have a few.

Maureen. She's fascinating + mysterious.
A book about the non-Lennon/McCartney group dynamics.
+ something that tackles George's tumultuous yrs/relationship w/ spirituality in a way that's actually good.

Well yeah bc the English + Americans have more in common than they'd ever want to admit. lol

This has also led to someone like that Eyup guy getting rted a lot by the US left + treated like he's the best representative to look to.
January 16, 2026 at 3:41 PM
Eh I would say that's a different situation + I don't mean the most prominent names. There's a bunch of smart good people on the UK left who could provide insight but US posters would rather stick w/ the laziest, least curious takes + only care what their buddies think.

Genuinely bums me out bc I think it hurts both sides that they refuse to engage with the UK/UK left in a serious way.
