I don’t tend to blame the stupid. Not directly anyway. They are a product of the decades of decay, neglect and crippling underfunding of our school systems. They may well have flourished, were they provided the conditions to do so when they were young.

So real. You never HAVE to put away childish things. If you realize that your tastes changed and you now find joy in more ‘mature’ pursuits then by all means follow that growth. But don’t give up something you love because you’re not “supposed” to love that at your age.

They did such a good job with that one. Seeing Sisko make that excruciating decision to water down his story to get it published because weak representation is better than none, and then the story gets killed anyway. It felt like heightened reality even though that’s a cuttingly realistic scenario.

I've been working on an essay about The Struggles of TTRPG Outreach and Fandom but I think this tumblr post just captured the whole sentiment im like 100 words.

Fact: Apart from pure recognition factor, one of the major reasons your fanart gets more eyes on it than your OCd is because people are perverts for narrative context, and your OCs don't have any.

Corollary: you don't actually need to write a whole-ass graphic novel to achieve that narrative context. You do need to know what your OC's story is, but once you do, you can literally just draw contextless snapshots from that story that raise more questions than they answer and people will fill in the blanks.

He does explicitly say in the article that that’s not an accurate comparison, but the difference is just that all the costs are a million times larger. So it’s not structurally different. It’s the same script as dot-com, or crypto, or NFT’s, but incalculably bigger.

Definitely having an “I feel old” moment because I remember the dot-com bubble from way back. It became a meme, this pattern of like “We’re gonna take this product nobody wants, give it away for free and that’ll make us all billionaires! It’ll be the Next Big Thing, you’ll see!”

Honestly the idea of an “evil race” feels pretty not-okay just on the face of it. The idea that someone can be born evil is just uhhh, yeah it sure sounds a certain way. I’m doing my part by playing a kholo cleric in our Pathfinder game. He’s purely good… intentioned.

It means that people enjoy living in The World, and that’s meant to be a central aspect of the game. Technical advances have made it much easier to generate wide open spaces now, but so many games are forgetting to populate them and make them feel alive.

post transformation the two kangaroo taurs are overwelmed by the changes. Forebucks : "You know what though? Are you starting to like it too?" Skips92: "Yyyeaaahhh..." forebucks : "Like... like-like it?" Skips92: "yeaaahhhhh..." both have overwelmed blush on the face, and aroused dicks. Forebucks looks far more excited, while skips92 is a bit more unsure in expression.
