I feel this so deeply. I know my dad wasn't raised to think like this. He certainly didn't raise me to think like this. It's so hard to watch brainwashing in real time. I don't know what to do anymore, and it's especially hard as an only child of aging parents. Ugh.

I live in this community. Noem danced around that library chanting “USA number one” on the US side and “51st state” on the Canadian side last month. She has no respect for border communities or the relationships they foster. I’m so ashamed.
