Yes. But while tariffs affect US businesses/consumers costs, tariffs affects Switzerland’s demand. Higher costs = reduced demand. Swiss must lower the cost of goods (reduce revenue/lower GDP), find alt distribution channels ($) or companies suffer req gov’t subsidies/support. Tariffs hurt both.

I’m so sick of GOP whining - the US has been taken advantage of! The US is a global leader. Being a leader means sometimes giving more than you get. It’s the role we’ve taken on. Do you turn around and tell your kids - you’re taking advantage of me!? If you don’t want to be a leader step down!

Of course US imports are greater than our exports…. the US is a large, wealthy country. We buy a lot of things. 🤷♀️

If they’ve determined there is $50B in waste, fraud and abuse, (roughly 8.25% of the feds gov’t medicaid spend in 2023) they must know where it is, right? Go in there and eliminate it. Problem solved.
