To those for whom shopping at Amazon is an accessibility need, calls for boycotts overlook the market share that AWS has on “the Internet”. Many websites, including Netflix, LinkedIn, AirBnb, Reddit, and Pinterest, use AWS. Divesting from Amazon is much more complex than not shopping.
