Unlike the Associated Press, there's at least one major media outlet willing to call balls and strikes on this. Nice headline, Boston Globe!

Yes, they are, but I'm happy to see some are finally asking the question and becoming enlightened as to their role in today's destruction of Constitutional America. Their getting it is the only way we'll ever get back to our original "One nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

There's blame for both. Each wanted the other to catch the ball. I would say though that the ones with the most to lose have suffered more because they they decided to wait and see what the other side would do instead of just catching the ball.

For me, today is a day of giving thanks for what we have and paying it forward. May you and yours have a beautiful Thanksgiving Day:

Furthermore, the article points out why the view that America was founded as a Christian nation is erroneous, regardless of what people believe. This is how the article begins.
November 26, 2025 at 12:45 AM
You should have read the article and not just the headline. The belief that the US was founded as such doesn't change that the same research says only 45 percent of Americans believe that America should be a Christian nation.

Not all Dems are spineless, but I know the kind you're talking about. This is the latest on a thread that is pretty wild in that the person is bending over backwards to excuse the GOP's role in how we got to Trump. 🙄
November 25, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Across the board the highest percentage you'll find is an even 50-50 split. What is 2/3rds is the belief that religion should be kept out of politics. Furthermore, if 2/3rds of a group believe 2+2=5 the answer is still 4.

More content describing a judicial coup.

"Governmental Seizure of the Judiciary: A government or a political faction using legislative or other means to gain control over the judiciary, thereby removing checks and balances and concentrating power in the hands of the ruling majority." AI summary.
November 25, 2025 at 1:11 PM
My point is that the groups in question had a specific goal: to take over the judiciary, including Supreme Court, in order to enact their will on the country. This is called a judicial coup.

@democrats.senate.gov Do your colleagues realize that, in Dante's Inferno, their actions put them on the same level as Trump? Treachery is treachery - the worst level in hell. Also, Schumer is there too, because he no doubt orchestrated this caving to the GOP, just as the Dems were poised to win.

Here's another reminder of why we're in this mess. It's bad enough that we get misinformation from MAGA. The first thing said in Harris's concession speech is about resisting the Trump regime. Yet...

When even moderate Democrats get it, you know things have gotten really bad. Laura Kelly is the governor of Kansas. Kansas!

Like I said, if you don't live in Virginia, or at least look at the politics within the state, you won't get it. You can't run a state race like a national one. There are more Republicans registered in the state than Democrats.
July 27, 2025 at 11:18 AM
Whatever. Biden's plans were still a better starting place than what Trump's plans are now, and we have no leverage to change Trump's position. We would have with Harris. This is not something I expect to agree with you on. Turning my focus back to the fires in the U.S..

Just to put this into context, women are also more likely to go to therapy than men.
July 22, 2025 at 10:09 PM
I look at what the people on the ground in Gaza were saying. They weren't thrilled with either choice, but the majority wanted Harris over Trump. As bad as things were, they saw Trump would be worse. Some of the opposition here had an agenda more about toppling the Dems than justice for Palestine.

If anyone has thoughts about how to combat this erasing of #ClimateChange data, I'd love to hear them. Just don't say, "wait for the mid-terms and 2028." The damage has already started. It will be way too late then.
