I started doing the sip and dips for charities once I retired from teaching. It is a lot of work, but everybody always seems to have so much fun, and it gives me a way to focus on my art and stay sharp.

Big weekend! Tomorrow we come together to protest the abuse of the many by the few, and then on Sunday we P.E.O. Sisters put on a sip and dip painting event to fund our scholarships for women. Looking forward to lots of joy💕

Great day in Susanville! Over 120 enthusiastic, energetic patriots rallying for democracy. Lots of positive responses from drivers by - honks, thumbs up, waves. Maybe our red county is changing at least a little….

It seems like leaders who are brazen enough to openly defy the truth, laws, rulings, morality, and historical precedent can get away with running roughshod over the country because there is no effective mechanism to stop them as they pump out propaganda to cover their actions. Congress, help!!

Working on posters for Saturday, and wondering why there isn’t a way to get access to ICE holding cells by LA representative. Who makes sure laws are followed? There are no laws without enforcement!

Sorry about Medicaid being that way about lack of choice😔, but it sounds like your therapist is NOT a kindred spirit. I wouldn’t try to change a mind that is so self-avowedly “moderate”. You’ll make yourself nuts. Just know you are in a good space on Bluesky💕

Another beautiful meadow. It is also a major area for free-range cattle grazing. The ranchers take the cows down to the valley for the winter and then bring them up to feed on the grasses here in the summer. Goodrich Creek runs through Mountain Meadows year-round..

Went for a walk by Robber’s Creek today. It only runs for a few weeks in the spring when the snow melts and flows into the meadow.

This area is taiga, and you can really tell this time of year when all the meadows are full of water.
