If we want money’s corruption out of politics or the appearance of equity in representation or to fix any of the other issues in the myriad of what is wrong with American politics then a federal lottery is as good as any other solution in my mind.

All federal elected officials by federal lottery.

No. He’s just another human. He apologized for the Senate capitulation.

Any time that woman gets called out is good!

Great work! A strongly worded letter!

He probably shouldn’t remind folks he’s been “…doin’ this for 31 years.” That’s also the problem.
November 11, 2025 at 8:39 PM
It’s your second sentence that is problematic. I think these 9 are representative of the majority of Senate Democrats. Witness Mark Kelly’s excusal of the situation.
November 10, 2025 at 8:21 PM
As well you should. No meed for apologies!

No. Chuck IS the bad guy.

This still incentivizes profit. Instead tie the total CEO compensation package the lowest paid worker’s compensation.

Then tax stock buybacks.

It’s not corporate greed. It’s shareholder greed. The shareholders need to demand profits come AFTER issues like living wages, etc.

I don’t disagree with the “greed” part but the blame is properly assigned.

You’re absolutely right. I don’t need to “deal”. I accept that truth. It does, however, factor into my perception that he is a political tool, propping up the outdated thinking that controls the party.

Endorse Mamdani.
October 9, 2025 at 11:50 PM
I hope he’s saying that to Jeanne Shaheen. She’s trying to cut a deal with folks who will renege on said deal in a second.

If Delta wants 100% of an employee’s time to represent Delta’s values then isn’t Delta obligated to compensate the employee monetarily?

Pretty sure if they figured it out the algos would change. Seems like all the billionaires are willing to take a knee to keep the king happy. It’s the billionaires controlling the algos, right?

Establishing term limits and correcting Supreme Court malfeasance are equally important.

Agree. Thank you for sharing what is obviously logical practice.

How many “sitting at home” were actually stripped from voter rolls? How many “sitting at home” have sat at home for years?

What can be tapped is the frustration of those “ sitting at home”. The system is broken so badly that all those “sitting at home” have simply disengaged. And it’s not new.
June 13, 2025 at 11:25 PM
So. Criticizing (“beat up”) is taboo? Accepting the status quo of the Dems is the correct path forward? This kind of thinking is why we can’t have nice things.

Let me help you with tenses? He has caused deaths. He is causing more.
