Because it was made by live orchestra. Because AI can't write a story like this. No company used the awards as an argument push for AI. The AI push in gaming has been going on for longer than the game was out.

Quick question: does the music team deserve to have their award taken away for someone else in the team using AI to make a few background assets as a test, back when AI wasn't as big as it is now?

If not for ban on certain tactics and methods, ad companies would be 100% fine with straight up brainwashing you, until you mentally break. Anything to buy product.

Because CEOs are deathly afraid of falling behind. Like camera company not switching to digital from film. One wrong choice and they lose the lead.
Unfortunately, that just makes them lose over and over and dump money into new thing that dies eventually.
