a building slanted against the angle of the camera lens seats itself to fit the entire image: a lone window with a light on and feylights lining the porch overlook fencing sits center/center-left of the image. the windows are abrasively blue compared to the concrete minimalistic edifice, edited to be that kind of blue because i like it.

a blue sky with cirrus/cirrostratus clouds lining the firmament sits perfectly arrayed in three different clusters: on the bottom right, just between the second and third cirrostratus cloud streams sit three planes, all adventuring in different directions, as though a mercurial burst of planes sent them out simultaneously. three planes, possibly upwards of ~2,500 passengers, all going to a different place, met in the universality of the open sky above the earth.

this is a mitsubishi electric industrial split-system water heater, meaning it's a ductless system that the external housing hosts both compressor and condenser, while the inside hosts the evaporator coil. the compressor presses refrigerant gas to provide cooling, and the condenser coil is basically a bunch of tubing containing the refrigerant (in common practice that's r-454B). the jargon gets a little weird because the large fan that's meant to ventilate hot air out of the home is also referred to as part of the condenser, but the primary difference between split-system and "packaged" system air conditioners is that the split-system has an outdoor and indoor housing, whereas packaged systems usually are store inside to ventilate through air ducts and whatnot <3
