at a protest that became national news when police assaulted an old man. Not reported- the second the protest was deemed "over" dozens of armored trucks w/ cops in riot gear rolled in and immediately started pushing people out of the square, while snipers scanned above. THEY bring the violence.

It's just been so insanely depressing to behold. Pelosi et al in the kente cloth was embarrassing for sure but at least they tried something out in response to the sustained drumbeat of DO SOMETHING at the time. Now all you get is "lol why don't YOU do something" while ppl are being brutalized

He hasn't even been living in NY. literally moved back a few weeks ago to try to scoop this seat rather than run against a friend in his actual home of MD. This is a very progressive district that doesn't need this shit.

A friend recently told me they didn't know how to recommend books for me because I do audiobooks a lot as well. I really pressed to get an explanation of what that meant lol. I can get through so many more books by listening while doing chores!

A counter point: turning this off helped me get serious about blocking and unsubbing from things I've sworn I've done that for at least 15x within the past 12 months or so

Yeah it was like Sophie's choice deciding between giving my soundbar or the Roku it's own perm spot instead of all of my consoles. Plus I need a step stool when I have to get behind the TV so I'm just PS5 exclusive for now

If there's a TJ's near you, they have decent fresh GF pasta. I've started to entertain making my own but my experiences with making my own bread have held me back. Jovial and Rummo are good too
