Where's our holiday train, @trimet.org?
🎄🎅🏻 DEFINITIVE RATINGS OF U.S. HOLIDAY TRAINS 🎅🏻 🎄👇

1️⃣ MBTA:

The newcomer - I believe this is the first year the T has done a holiday train. Definitely a strong effort but very busy & a bit overboard on using vinyl decals.

But bonus for the Phil Eng Santa on the orange line.

Grade: B+

Forget Whamagedon and play Jingle Rock Bell A Palooza instead.

Just enjoy the silliness every time you hear it or sing your own version!

Me on the West Coast, a person who eats Thanksgiving dinner at the usual dinner time: why are you all making food at this hour (7am)!!!!!???!?!?‽

It's gonna fuck him up if he finds out we have a store called Mr. Plywood.
Trump: "Portland, I mean -- every time I look at that place it's burning down. There are fires all over the place. When a store -- there are very few of them left -- but when a store owner rebuilds a store they build it out of plywood. They don't put up storefronts anymore. They just put wood up."

The person with a first gen Tesla sedan has an excuse for his anti-Elon sticker. This cybertruck driver does not. Also, pretty sure he has no "rizz."

Jazzed about the James Beard Public Market progress!

They better have onion sandwiches at the grand opening!

I'm glad I met the people who taught me how to make Ethiopian food (because it is that good!), but I am not happy they had to deal with famine and war.

Do these ding dongs not understand that people came to the US because they were suffering at home?
Quick question: Are people insane?

It's a new era. Time for my "The We Decade" shirt to go to that big rag pile in the sky, er closet.

Base on this obit, Sid Simon was a cool guy, even if this shirt is a bit cheesy.

Fun fact, the latest remodel of the Portland Building made it better than the original. (And also revealed the style is just "brutalism in a dress" another style these ding dongs hate without reason.)

Update I failed to make hummus and eventually just threw out my $0.31 worth of chickpeas!
I had to see how long to cook chickpeas (that I'd sprouted) so I pulled out this turn of the millennium pamphlet from the defunct Wild Oats supermarket to look up the cook time.

Gonna turn 31¢ worth of chickpeas into hummus!

Of course, it makes perfect sense to follow the radiologist company on social media. We do have a very intimate relationship (you squeezed my boobs!)

We learned about the stock market in middle school. Even then I thought, how is this relevant to my life?

I "bought" EF Hutton stock in our excersie. I thought stock traders would make money like Levi Strauss in the Gold Rush. I was wrong, they were kiting checks and their stock went down!
This is a remarkably clear statement of the political logic of baby bonds. www.ft.com/content/f460...
