lil anecdote about tea for the night, my first "oh no" experience w a gacha game was on fire emblem heroes where i spent $100 trying/failing to get grima from his banner, and when i tried to spend more it stopped me because i was a minor at the time
it made me upset then, but i'm glad it was there

my most evil modding take is that i miss when everything was ports from other games of actually optimized, decently crafted clothing that had proper hems and details and visual weight to it ✅ but then everyone started vaulting them because we lost the tnf timed requirement ❌
