A one time “spot tax” for the approximately 800 US billionaires on their entire fortunes of a mere 2% would yield $124B (as of 2024).
I believe ending homelessness, ending poverty and a complete overhaul of our healthcare system could easily be achieved with that funding and they’d be 800 heroes 🤷♂️
