Only female comes produce seed, and they open without the help of fire. The seeds will sprout anywhere, but without enough sunlight the saplings will be dead within 15 years. Only those that sprout under a gap in the canopy, likely made by fire, have the chance of growing to maturity.

There's almost 4000 mosquito species and only around 20 would need to be targeted to effectively eradicate mosquito-born diseases. Would also reduce insecticide use by cities that spray for mosquitos.

Different bee species have different soil preferences, native soil alone will attract whichever species need it
