Yes I agree but if the individual is willing to question their own deep beliefs and challenge them consistently when they mature. It’s entirely possible to change deep rooted misinformation. It’s all up to the individual though and it’s hard to admit that too oneself.

If being neglected throughout your whole life turns you into an asshole you’re not the problem, the system that exploits that is the problem. The system will never teach you or give you the tools to destroy the system, that’s why teaching the young people and involving them is the way forward.

It might be the same system but not everybody has the experience. A wealthy dominant white public school system won’t be the same as a predominantly black school system. I think we all know which one gets more funding and gets the better teachers. That inherent disadvantage from a young age is wrong

50 years of defunding public education and not teaching ethics has worked out really well for the right wing in this country. It’s a massive disgrace, I believe in the public school system and the pros it has but my child’s learning won’t stop when that final bell rings.
