Tbh i have also been considering asking for e injections too since i hear they work really well, but i feel like i am getting railroaded a bunch in my transition which sucks

I have done this for years now and the only time it hasn't worked for me is when i was taking medical steroids because it burned the insides of my veins, and tetanus shots which seem to bruise the surrounding muscle pretty badly.

The trick to ignoring needles entirely is to simply hold a conversation while they prepare the needle and wait until after they have covered the wound to end the conversation.
If you don't look at the doctor and keep talking, you won't tense up which makes it hurt less and is easier to ignore

As an aboriginal person in australia, i am a part of a small group of people who receive a higher amount of vaccines than most.

I find that some injections are painful, but the needle itself will never hurt more than a slight pinch (with the exception of larger needles since i haven't had them)
