They are keeping him only for the revenue he is generating for the private prison industry. The whole monstrous creation of private-for-profit prisons must be dismantled.

Apart from the egregious nature of all this, what a complete waste of money and resources. Flying folks around (with, presumably, ICE agents in tow), court time, incarceration costs (which seems to be as little as they can get away with). And all for a guy who it appears did everything by the book?
