Same. I turned 5 poems into short stories and used them as writing samples for my MFA applications, was accepted to Columbia (attended SoA ‘03), Brooklyn College, NYU, & Sarah Lawrence, and published 100+ poems & stories since 1999. But still can’t celebrate any of it because imposter syndrome.

I’m with you on this & often worry about the electric substations “protected” by chainlink fence and a rusted padlock. Attempts to cut mass power must happen often & I fear soon the attempts will succeed. But until then, we keep a watchful eye on squirrels!
