Today’s trip was to Monaco, and after a 2 hour tour I’ve stopped at Brasserie de Monaco for lunch and a couple of beers - a seasonal IPA and their wheat beer.

Next stop is Allez Hops - a bottle shop & taproom for Brasserie Bleue. I had two excellent beers - especially their IPA, which the brewer told me he considers to be more a Mid-West IPA. To me it had a lot of what I enjoy in a West Coast IPA. Lots of malt character and very bitter!

I’m in Nice, France, for work. Free evening today, so I’m exploring. In Vieux Nice, I’ve stumbled upon Beer Company. They brew their own beers and I’ve had two of them - Chantal IPA and Josette Amber - that are pretty decent.

After Schottenhammel, we headed over to Pschorr Braurosl for some Hacker-Pschorr beers.
That was our lot. 6 litres to add to shots and spirits throughout the day!

First was the Schottenhammel Festhalle for a few hours, and several litres of Spaten.

I’m back from a trip to Munich for Oktoberfest, where I was with a group of 20 people (including me). First was a little bit of sightseeing, then a dinner at Augustiner Keller.

A beer with dinner, and it’s one that I took away from the @redwillowbrewery.bsky.social taproom the other day. It was one of the beers I had on tap on my visit, as I was so enamoured with it, and it’s just as good from the can. And I’m not ashamed to say it 😁

I’ve finally (4 years after having Rich on the podcast!) got down to @werewolfbeer.bsky.social in Camden. It’s a great taproom. Lots of horror/fairground paraphernalia and heavy metal music playing. The beers are awesome too, which of course helps!!

I’m running a big golf day tomorrow (120 players!) at Shrigley Hall, so I’ve popped in to Macclesfield to visit @redwillowbrewery.bsky.social for a few. Very much enjoyed all the beers, and their town centre bar is great.

Today Colin Gilham and I ran a tasting of @elusivebrewing.com x @unbarredbrewery.bsky.social x Lallemand Brewing Experiments in Yeast at Two Tails Taproom. Four beers brewed with the same base recipe, but each pitched with a different yeast. It was a great deal of fun, and very interesting.

The end of another week. They seem to roll around so quickly these days. A swift visit to Hop Stop for two beers before the cinema. Starting with an Amber Festbier from Pohjala, then on to a gorgeous NEIPA from Beak.

I went to London today to watch Just For One Day - the Live Aid Musical (outstanding!) and had a few beers at Craft Beer Co beforehand. Two gorgeous brews from @unbarredbrewery.bsky.social and a banger from @kernelbrewery.bsky.social.

I worked a Gala Dinner for 350 people on Saturday night in Dubrovnik, and was amazed to see them serve two craft beers, from Pivovara Medvedgrad and Zmajska Pivovara So between my night out, my supermarket beers, and the dinner, I ended up trying beers from 6 different Croatian breweries!

Back from working in Dubrovnik. Was too busy for beers except Thursday eve when I visited a couple of places in the Old Town. However, I did get a couple of beers from Croatian breweries Garden Brewery and Saperlot, which I enjoyed in my room watching Severance.
