This is how I managed my food aversion when I first got diagnosed with Crohn’s! I try to be gentle with myself and remind myself it’s temporary, and that I’m lucky any day I can eat without pain. Slowly I start to venture back into trying more and enjoying food again, but it’s so cyclical.
