im writing feedback to bsky right now and this is one of my points. the best option is a labelling system that doesn't penalise artists for using it. artists will OPT-IN to label their art with noncon/violence/watersports/whatever the average person doesn't want to see if those labels dont harm them

Oh you assumed the cartoon character getting plowed is consenting because they look happy? How naïve. They're pretending because they were coerced by the other character. also they should merge the content-flagging taglike thingies into tags. bonus points for cool features like tag namespaces (#content.someKindOfContent), allowing whitespace in tags, or some kind of community aliasing of tags with similar meanings or different spellings, ie #nsfw <> #NSFW
