This is terrible but unfortunately not surprising :( Ringling has a long history of being unfair and unprofessional and extremely unsympathetic to any student that falls behind. I hope your friend is able to find some sort of fair resolution and I'm sending them all the best wishes in the world!!!

Yeah it's brutal, I already have tons of arm/shoulder/wrist pain and I know I'm not doing myself any favors by working myself to death. It's even more frustrating when I'm fully overbooked, but still can't afford to pay my water bill 😒
