Yup. And unlike most other countries, the US doesn't give credit for taxes paid to the country you live in. So you have to pay taxes twice.

I'll tell you it's really, really expensive. Like you need AT LEAST 1 million in liquid assests. Unless you have an in demand job the other country is looking for, or you marry a citizen of that country.

And even after you spend all the money to get out, the US still takes you to town w/ taxes.

I have read/listened to more books in the last two weeks than I probably did the 6months prior. Dungeon Crawler Carl is really good!! And honestly kinda uplifting in a weird way for me. But one of the main characters is a cat and she's AMAZING!

Support your local community. Go out and volunteer, donate time or money to local non-profits in your area. Say hi to your neighbors, make them a treat, leave a nice card on their door, or a small gift basket if you want to be extra kind.
Find community, whatever that means for you.

Yes it is so frustrating! My child is SO much more than his disabilities. They're a part of him of course, but his intelligence and quick wit shines through in all he does. He'll be an excellent electrical engineer or trauma surgeon someday!
