This week's guest is Matty Taylor!

The striker's story has gone down in #oufc folklore, having twice been released by his home-town club as a teenager, before finally returning in 2019 and going on to score 64 goals 🎯

Out on Thursday!

Don’t miss this week’s episode with Les Robinson!

The former full-back scored only 6 goals in 458 #oufc appearances, but those half-dozen included some crackers 😮‍💨

Watch all Les’ goals in yellow below, with some words from the man himself 👇

Our episode with Les Robinson goes live tomorrow lunchtime!

The former #oufc full-back roomed with Mickey Lewis during his playing career, so he wasn’t short of stories about Mad Dog!

Here’s a taster of what to expect…🌵

Les Robinson joins us this week!

Only 5 men have made more #oufc appearances than the former full-back, who played 458 games - including many as captain - between 1990 and 2000.

Les was on top form as he told us plenty of stories from on and off the pitch!

Joe Skarz joins us this week!

With three games of the 2015-16 season remaining, #oufc had a depleted squad and their promotion push was faltering.

Joe had been ruled out for the rest of the season with a groin injury, but he stepped up to play a vital role 🫡

Listen to the full episode tomorrow!

This week's guest is a true #oufc cult hero!

Joe Skarz joined in January 2015 and quickly became United's Mr Reliable, even playing through the pain barrier to help secure promotion from League Two in 2016 👏

The episode will go live on Thursday!

ICYMI: Make sure you listen to our interview with Karl Robinson!

We had to ask the former #oufc boss about this match at #SAFC in 2021👇

Karl told us what went down in the tunnel at half-time, in what became known as ‘headbutt-gate’…

Our first guest of Series 6 is Karl Robinson!

Karl's five-year spell as #oufc boss included play-off campaigns and cup runs, before he was sacked in February 2023.

Following his goal on Saturday, Cameron Brannagan is now one of just 3 players to feature in BOTH of these #oufc all-time lists:

⚽️ Top 10 goalscorers (=10th)
🧢 Top 20 appearances (=15th).

The others are Graham Atkinson and Joey Beauchamp. Legend 🪄🎩

Goals from James Constable and Ryan Williams secured a 2-1 win for #oufc on their last visit to Wrexham, an FA Cup 2nd round tie in December 2013 in front of 2,906 fans.

United finished 8th in League Two that season, with Wrexham 17th in the National League. How far both clubs have come since then…

Congrats to @martinezra.bsky.social, @bigdwoolly.bsky.social & @wiggytoo.com, who between them guessed the two correct answers - which are…

Will Vaulks and Michal Helik!

Vaulks played for Wales in a friendly in October 2020 & Helik started for Poland in a World Cup qualifier in March 2021.

After last night’s stalemate, #oufc have now failed to score on their past 4 visits to QPR.

Steve Davis (not that one) was the last player to score for the club at Loftus Road with this effort in a 1-1 draw in April 1998!

United are also on a 13-game winless run at QPR, stretching back to 1969 😬

Yesterday was the first time #oufc have won a second-tier away game by 2+ goals since beating Norwich 3-1 in November 1998 - a time when the club’s very existence was in doubt.

Brian Wilsterman, Dean Windass and Andy Thomson the scorers that day ⚽️

Probably the most notable #oufc win against Brighton was a 3-0 FA Cup 4th round upset in January 1982 🏆

Peter Foley (2) and Keith Cassells scored as Ian Greaves’ third-tier side stunned the Seagulls, then of Division One 😮

Peter reflected on that day when he joined us on the pod this year 👇

The previous time #oufc were in League Cup action #OnThisDay was in 2014, when they caused a first-round upset at Bristol City.

Carlton Morris and Danny Hylton scored in a 2-1 comeback win, giving Michael Appleton his first victory as United boss.

On this day 10 years ago: Wiener Neustadt 0-0 #oufc 🇦🇹

A pre-season tour that set the tone for one of the most enjoyable campaigns in a long time. Some iconic photos, too 🔥

*NEW POD*

Something a bit different for you...

Gary Silver is one of the most recognisable #oufc supporters, travelling from southern Scotland to watch the U's home and away.

Back in the 80s, Gary played for United's youth team - and has some brilliant tales from the glory days👇

The #oufc players and staff are en route to Indonesia ✈️

Something tells us that this trip may be a little different to the infamous pre-season tour to Boston in 2011 👀🍻

Michael Duberry had just signed for the club - he shared his memories when he joined us on the pod 👇
