It's not that your apology and atonement isn't appreciated, it is and I thank you for it.

But as a Muslim in the US, I dont see a path forward. Not now at least. So much has happened, that I think I will die of old age (hopefully) before the damage is undone.

I understand, and to be frank, there are way bigger monsters like Bannon, Miller, and Vance that will never do what you did, and make attempts to atone.

The only issue is that an apology right now rings hollow, because I don't think there is a way for America to come back. Things changed forever.
