2. I'm trans! It directly impacts me in a way that could be detrimental to my health, safety, ability to work and to simply move about the country freely without fear of being harassed or detained.

This is so unsettling 😨. Nearly every major health and psychological organization on the planet agrees that the healthcare needs of trans people are real, but this insane demagogue is just going to wave his hand and deny us the right to even exist???

Reading through this bill, I didn't find anything pertaining specifically to LGBTQ people or terminology. The amendments seem to focus exclusively on expanding the ability to prosecute an offender even if the "victim" is undercover law enforcement.

Every day over the last several months, I've seen bills proposed and rhetoric professed that has me questioning if democracy can survive such a relentless onslaught of anti-American and bigoted ideology.
