Just had a convo that reminded me of one of my biggest worries when I was a kid... The fear that I'd grow up and start wanting a plain tidy beige house with boring wallpaper, sensible clothes etc. Now I'm sat in my own toy shop wearing a monkey onesie and very grateful it never happened 😄❤

I've had the absolute pleasure of talking with an older Palestinian gentleman this week in my shop. He told me stories about his childhood, picking ripe oranges and figs, the constant music of church bells, playing with scorpions. He's been homesick for 60 years ❤️‍🩹
