Sounds like my childhood. I remember getting a Star Wars card game for Christmas one year. In a household with 6 other people in it, I never actually got to play it because it required 2 players.

And the ending just smacks of all those conservative judges that let some connected white boy get off Scott free and protect them because they "don't want to ruin their future" like Brock Turner or that one rapist with family ties to OSU in Oklahoma recently.

Hell, his protagonist just plain has no soul, no beliefs, or anything I can grab onto or relate to. He only really seems to try to act like he's reversing course when it's clear to him that he's going to hell and is trying to save his own skin in the long term.

Seriously, it straight up killed any motivation I had to even bother with walfas. He could have made something showing off what he loved about Touhou and THAT is all he could come up with, just another edgy, try hard story that's no different than all the other ones he was ridiculing?

I mean, I thought I could try to do something good with it, kinda showing off what I liked about the setting and characters of Touhou and trying to introduce more people to it in an inviting way. Then I stumbled across that thing and kinda felt like I would just be cleaning up someone else's mess.

This is why I don't care for wallas anymore. There was a time I was considering trying to learn and make some sort of series of walfas videos. I was thinking of going into various threads in there, exploring Reisen becoming more "earthy" for instance. (I hate how parts of the "fandom" treat her.)
