As soon as Russ said he was working on a video about N64 games I knew it was about the Analogue 3D. It was kind of funny hearing him talk about the games, specifically say he wasn’t emulating them, but never mention how he was doing it.

Mappy because how could you possibly guess that the game is about a police mouse tasked with recovering stolen items from a mansion that serves as a hideout for a gang of thieving cats.

It was a toss up for me of whether to pick Toonstruck, Koala Lumpur, or The Neverhood and I picked The Neverhood and never regretted it.

I’d guess it probably has to do with NPD having been a reliable tool for accurate sales data for 20 years but then digital sales and not having full sales information when they became Circana meant that a lot more speculation is now needed for the same reporting and trend analysis.

If you believe LRG they said they’ve already identified the issue with their Carbon Engine and reported it to Nintendo to be addressed in a system update as well as have a patch on the way for Gex specifically.

I wonder if there’s a divide between people who primarily play handheld versus docked. If I played docked I wouldn’t care much either but I use it mostly handheld and see it as a huge improvement over the Switch 1 and the Steam Deck’s smaller screen size and resolution.

The PS5 launched with Demon’s Souls which was a remake and just more Souls and then a bunch of PS4 games that had PS5 upgrades which is probably why Sony felt compelled to add on that PS Plus collection of games for free. The Series X had even less. The Switch 2 launch is at least on par with those.

There’s no reason Danny DeVito couldn’t come back and play Louie again and joke about how tired he is of working there.

Lucky The Leprechaun being someone who obsessively hoards his cereal and refuses to share it with starving children to the point of paranoia seems pretty conservative to me.

Reminds me of how marketing executives in the 80s apparently thought the doo-wap music from their childhood was still popular with the kids and based all of Nickelodeon’s early bumpers and a bunch of kids toys and food ads on it.

Also, it was a pretty savvy marketing move, like, ask anyone to name 5 people who died on the Titanic and guaranteed the violin guys make the list.
