On the invitation of H. E. Valérie Lusamba Kabeya, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo and President of the Group of African Ambassadors to the State of Qatar, Ambassador William Asselborn had the pleasure to take part in a gala dinner for the Celebration of Africa Day.

Our Ambassador attended the opening of a new Chopin chocolate store in Doha, which sells high quality Belgian chocolate. Belgian chocolate is not only a well known delicacy, it is also an important export product for our country. Belgium accounts for more than 10% of all chocolate export worldwide.

We had the honor to receive a Belgian economic mission with 44 Belgian companies. The economic mission was organized by the regional trade and investment agencies hub.brussels, AWEX and FIT, as well as the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium to Qatar and the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce
