Even slugs can look kinda cute, you could make a good meal from a mushroom bigger than your head
A dark slug, with a dark bluish, brownish, shade to its skin. It is clamped onto and taking a big bite out of a mushroom. On top of the forest bed, a mix of dried matter, but a sense of wetness, with moss and lichen abound

A bedraggled sparrow sits under a wooden gothic arch in a bird feeder. It had stuck a window and fallen in water. Stunned, it rests and dries.

A brown and beige mottled frog emerges from water covered in duckweed. Wearing these botanical scales the frog pushes up through the surface tension, it bending with them. The green extends into the distance, some small reeds and branches reaching from the back centre and off to the right, dark and sodden with water.
