From DetCo, my favorite is either Bourbon or Vermouth. Based on what little I've seen so far of Yaiba, Onimaru is my favorite. But I've enjoyed the special episodes/movie that Okita was in so he might end up being my true favorite... One day...

Gundam Build Fighters when @eeveehnoodle.bsky.social showed it to me in 2017. I was an adult when I became a mech fan.
Teeeechnically my first mecha anime was Aquarion and I would have watched it as a young teen. It absolutely pushed me away from the genre (But the opening slapped).

Anyways, go read the Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells and watch the show when it comes out. Murderbot's story is a lot of fun.

I mean aside from growing up with Pokemon and Sailor Moon, my first anime (and the one that properly got me into anime) was Angelic Layer.
