Working with Ed has always been an immense source of joy for us all and we are devastated by his loss.
Bellowhead x

Tragically in October this year he discovered that the cancer had come back. We are unbelievably sad to have to tell you all that Ed passed away on Christmas Eve surrounded by his family. All our love goes out to his wife Cathryn and his two wonderful children James and Beth.

Thankfully his chemo went very well, and with
characteristic strength and determination he went ahead with the Bellowhead tour. As far as anyone knew, he was fully recovered.

It was an absolute blast touring with you … thank you so much for bringing your energy and talent to the shows!

Bellowhead is the most magical thing. It’s always like returning home 🥲 it’s playing the music I adore with my second family. Thank you Bellowhead. You’re all stunning and I love you.

Now to wash my rank smelly clothes, rest my achey legs and sleep for a few weeks.
