Mr moon is currently illuminated the garden 😞

My catch so far tonight is dominated by Box tree 👀 #teammoth

She has lost all of her toys until further notice

I'm not doing great although I haven't trapped much lately. I do have Feathered Thorn tonight but it's a tad poorly after the dog stood on it 😳

Same here. The forecast was for thick cloud all night but the moon is currently beaming down 🙄

I can trump your 3 Box with 4 🙄. I think everybody is doing poorly for autumn stuff and it will soon be over 😞

Didn't expect to see another Swallow-tailed this year #teammoth

Indeed. At least one was nfy in Feathered Thorn, but hardly worth the electric. Slightly better tonight already with a 2nd gen Swallow-tailed. Black Rustic and 3 Box tree

Well, let's hope the thick cloud tonight will be more favourable than the clear skies and big moon that was present last night. And surely I can do better than last night's 2/2 #teammoth

Grey Phalarope (Phalaropus fulicarius), Waterswallows Quarry, Buxton, Derbyshire, UK, 07/10/2025 ebird.org/checklist/S2... This arctic-breeding wader, no doubt blown inland by Storm Amy, was found by @rayscally.bsky.social this afternoon #ukbirding #birding #birds #rarebirdsuk #ukrarebirds

Loving that Red-line Quaker, mate. One I've not had yet.

Well, at least Sir Terry won't be visiting tonight. Feathered Thorn is nfy #teammoth

It was indeed. It took us an age to see it but eventually showed quite well.

A year ago today I saw only my second ever Olive-backed Pipit #notamoth

I came across this photo the other day which I took. Eddie doing what he loved the most.

9 Teal later on and a single Gadwall.

I had 17/13, too, but quite different to yours, as you know.

Good luck to you too. I'd be happy with a Vestal or Pink-barred Sallow 🤞

Thanks. We do ok for them around these parts. I occasionally get them in the garden, but that is a rare treat.

Some phonescoped shots from Carsington yesterday. Males of both Stonechat and Bullfinch.
